Help build food confidence, one experience at a time.
Join the Kids’ Test Kitchen team
At Kids’ Test Kitchen, we’re on a mission to build food confidence by creating hands-on cooking experiences that help participants discover new foods, develop lifelong skills, and build healthier relationships with food.
If that mission resonates with you, we’d love to meet you.
More Than Teaching Recipes
As a Kids’ Test Kitchen Facilitator, you’ll do much more than lead a cooking class.
You’ll create an environment where curiosity is encouraged, participation is celebrated, and every tasting decision is respected. Through hands-on cooking, enthusiastic engagement, and pressure-free exploration, you’ll help participants discover that they are capable of trying, preparing, and enjoying new foods.
Cooking is the vehicle. Food confidence is the destination.
Who Thrives Here
We’re looking for people who are:
- Warm and encouraging
- Dependable and organized
- Comfortable leading small groups
- Enthusiastic about food and lifelong learning
- Patient, positive, and supportive of participants at every stage of their food journey
You don’t need to be a chef. You simply need to enjoy helping people learn through hands-on experiences.
Flexible, Meaningful Work
Kids’ Test Kitchen classes are typically held after school and meet once a week for a series of sessions.
You choose the opportunities that fit your schedule, and we work to keep assignments close to home.
Whether you’re an educator, healthcare professional, retiree, college student, or simply someone who believes in our mission, we’d love to hear from you.
If you believe cooking can change the way people feel about food, you may be exactly who we’re looking for.
